1. Service Description

Social Intel API provides programmatic access to publicly available Instagram profile data via a REST API and MCP server. Payment is handled per-request using the x402 protocol (USDC on Base chain).

2. Acceptance

By making API requests or payments to Social Intel API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Pricing & Payments

• Each search request costs $0.10 USDC, payable via the x402 protocol on Base chain.
• Payments are non-custodial and settled on-chain. Once a transaction is confirmed, it is final and non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice posted on this page.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the API to harass, stalk, or send unsolicited bulk messages to Instagram users.
• Resell raw API data without adding meaningful value or transformation.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or payment requirements.
• Use automated tools to overload the service (DDoS, brute-force, etc.).
• Violate Instagram's Terms of Service or any applicable law.

5. Rate Limits

The API is rate-limited to 60 requests per minute per IP address. Exceeding this limit returns HTTP 429. Persistent abuse may result in IP blocking.

6. Data Accuracy

Search results are sourced from third-party data providers and reflect publicly available Instagram data. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of results. Data is provided "as is".

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime. The service may be unavailable for maintenance, upstream outages, or other reasons. No SLA is provided.

8. Limitation of Liability

Social Intel API is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may block access to the API at any time for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion. Since there are no user accounts, termination means blocking your IP or wallet address.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
